“I am a mother. My God. I’m humbled with gratitude. I love both of my babies, for whom... for everything that they are. I don’t need to be disappointed and enraged! I don’t need to live within those little girl notions which have served only to blind me from the joy which is right here before me.

In fact, this isn’t even vaguely about my kids; it is all about me. And if it’s about me, I have the power to recognize it and then, to change it.

I’m not angry at anyone but me, and now that I see my truth, I can work on not being so angry anymore. My discontent is only an illusion that my inner dialogue has created! I can now work on healing the issues around my parents, and my upbringing. My pain was born there, as it was there that the seeds of my expectations were sown.
